    Neva Josephine Siratt Robertson, 91, passed away on June 16, 2016 in Houston, Texas. Neva was born November 10, 1924 to Grace and Rubin Siratt in the New DeRoche Community, the fourth of six children. She married Claude C. Robertson on October 25, 1945 and moved to Houston, Texas, making it her home for over 70 years. Together they raised three children, Milton, Alton and Sue.

    Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at 10:00 AM in the Atkinson Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Alan Cansler will be officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 20, 2016 from 5:30 to 8:00 PM  in the Atkinson Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment will be at Prairie Bayou Cemetery following the service.

    Special thanks to Serenity’s Haven in Tomball, TX for 6 years of care.

    Jesus held out His hand and said “Come with Me.” Death is God’s final healing.

    I am so very sorry to find out about her passing. Please would one of the relatives get in touch with me. I believe she was my grandfathers (Olen Edgar Siratt) sister. He was the son of Rubin. Olen has one daughter still alive, my aunt. Her name is Carolyn Mathews. her number 870-899-2655. Thank you
